If you could do something dangerous just once with no risk, what would you do?
HALO jump into arctic conditions and then a subsequent mountain descent.

What do you miss about childhood?
The utter ignorance about the malice of people-at-large.

If you could give all human beings one virtue, which would you choose?
Clementia. For the more room we give for mercy and forgiveness of others, the more understanding a world this would be. I include myself in this magical gracement of virtue.

If you lived to be 100 would it be more important to have a sharp mind or a fit body?
Sharp mind. What’s a body without a mind? Just a sack of flesh, useable, I suppose, but lacking that which gives it value, therefore its end result is uselessness.

What do you enjoy most about being single?
The freedom of selfish dreaming. When you’re in a relationship you are obligated (or should be) to think of your paramour in your future plans, plots, or dreams. If you’re not, then you probably ought not stay in that relationship (or it is not long for life).

Is it more difficult for you to speak kindly or honestly?
Kindly. Honesty is not a challenge, not especially, but finding the right word at the right time and saying it in the right way? Well, that often requires a kindness I am not naturally known to have. That’s hard.

Is it more essential to develop beliefs or gain knowledge?
Develop beliefs. Knowledge without a frame is like data without enrichment – flat, formless and unreliable, lacking intent and lacking purpose.

"Raw," she said. "I want something primal. I want something bare and naked. I want you to give me this life raw, unbidden, unhidden, free, fair, and true. Can you do that? Can you do that for me?"

One may only try.
