I want your journey through these pages to be as meandering as my thoughts are but even jungles have paths…

There are times you need to write letters to that special someone, a partner, a child, a lost love, a hope, or a wish. You cannot always say the name, or even know the name, but these are the letters of our lives.

This modern version of love has not always been kind or easy to many of us. From blue screens capturing us in the sharp hours of the night or all the rules and guidelines and ways to do it wrong, how do we find our way?

Visit the grove of the erotics. “Erotic” comes from the Greek word erōtikos which has the root of erōs, or love. The sexual, the physical, the desire, the passion, the indulgence in, and the celebration of, the sensate is nothing to be ignored. In fact, to ignore is not only a peril, it’s foolishness–madness! Tarry a bit.

Sometimes short is sweet. Or bitter. Or incomprehensible. Or enough. Sometimes six words is enough.

And sometimes, all you know is the start…so start.

This is just the start. There are so many more words out there, so many more things that need to be said. We are just at the beginning.

Raison d’etre

"Raw," she said. "I want something primal. I want something bare and naked. I want you to give me this life raw, unbidden, unhidden, free, fair, and true. Can you do that? Can you do that for me?"

One may only try.
